Terms of use
Last updated: 28 September 2026 · This is a translation. The German version is binding.
1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of metrique (metrique.app) by PO4 seiler + den hartog architekten GmbH, Zwinglistrasse 6a, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland (“we”). By using metrique, at the latest by taking out a subscription, you accept these terms.
2. Services
metrique calculates figures for building projects and compiles information from official sources and building regulations. The basic features are free and can be used without an account. Pro adds the features described on the pricing page, such as cadastre, ÖREB, reading building regulations with AI, volume study, saving in the account and PDF export.
We develop metrique continuously and may change, add or replace features as long as the essential scope of Pro is kept.
3. Account
Pro requires an account with a valid e-mail address. You are responsible for access to the mailbox you sign in with. An account is personal; several people need several accounts.
4. Subscription, prices and trial
- Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription at the prices on the pricing page, in Swiss francs.
- The first subscription starts with the free trial named on the pricing page. Unless cancelled before it ends, it turns into the chosen subscription.
- The subscription renews automatically for the chosen period until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time under “Account” → “Manage subscription”, effective at the end of the current period. Periods already paid are not refunded pro rata.
- We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance by e-mail; they apply from the next period. If you do not agree, you can cancel as of that date.
5. Payment
Payment is handled by Stripe; Stripe's terms also apply. If a payment cannot be collected, we may suspend Pro until it is made.
6. AI credit
Reading new building regulations with AI is limited per account and month by a credit, shown under “Account”. Regulations read before are available without using it. We may adjust the credit if the cost of the AI changes significantly.
7. No warranty for results
The calculations, the volume study and the information taken from official sources and building regulations – in particular the values read by AI – are aids for early assessments. They may be incomplete, outdated or wrong and replace neither checking the applicable rules nor the assessment by professionals or authorities.
You are responsible for decisions you base on metrique. Check the information against the linked sources.
8. Availability
We aim for smooth operation but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Third-party services, e.g. of the Confederation and the cantons, may fail or change. We announce maintenance where possible.
9. Liability
We are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, as far as the law permits. Liability for indirect and consequential damage, lost profit and loss of data is excluded. In any case liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the last twelve months.
10. Users' obligations
You use metrique lawfully and not in a way that disrupts its operation, e.g. through automated mass requests. In case of breaches we may suspend or close the account.
11. Data
How we handle your data is set out in the privacy policy. Your projects belong to you; you can delete your account with all its data at any time.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We inform subscribers of material changes at least 30 days in advance by e-mail; anyone who does not agree can cancel as of their entry into force.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the Vienna Sales Convention. Place of jurisdiction is Zurich, unless mandatory provisions, e.g. for consumers, provide otherwise.
