metrique uses public data from the Confederation, the cantons and the municipalities. The information is meant for early assessments; the original sources and the authorities are authoritative.
Addresses and parcels
Address search and parcels of the official cadastral survey via the federal geoportal (© swisstopo, cantonal data).
Building footprints
Land cover “building” of the official cadastral survey, a joint service of the cantons. It provides the neighbouring buildings in the plan and the neighbours’ distances.
Roads
Road network from swissTLM3D (© swisstopo), to recognise street boundaries.
Terrain and building heights

Register of buildings and dwellings
Federal Register of Buildings and Dwellings (GWR) of the Federal Statistical Office, for information on the buildings around and on the parcel (year, storeys, dwellings, heating).
Energy
Electricity tariffs of the municipalities from the Federal Electricity Commission (ElCom) via the federal linked data service (LINDAS); thermal networks from the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). Demand values by SIA 380/1, CO₂ factors by KBOB.
ÖREB cadastre
Land use zones, building lines and other public-law restrictions on landownership from the cantonal ÖREB cadastres, retrieved as an extract.

Building regulations
Building and zoning regulations of the municipalities as published by the municipality or the canton. The values are read with AI (Claude by Anthropic), referenced by article and page, and should be checked against the document.
Rents
Average rent per m² by canton from the structural survey of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO), updated yearly. These are rents in existing tenancies, i.e. what is paid in occupied rental flats; new buildings and newly let flats are usually higher.
Fees
Fee calculation by time required according to SIA 102, with the SIA factors Z1 and Z2.
Cost parameters
Default values such as building costs per m³ or operating costs are rules of thumb for a first estimate and can be adjusted in every project.
